President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shows no interest in MHP Chair Devlet Bahçeli's proposal that Turkey, Russia, and China (TRÇ) should form an alliance against the U.S.-Israel coalition.
Four days after Bahçeli’s proposal, Erdoğan was questioned about his remarks by a TRT correspondent soon after his arrival at the UN General Assembly. Erdoğan just said he was unable to follow the issue.
MHP Deputy Chair İsmail Özdemir told Türkiye daily that the alliance in question would be able to create a new global reserve currency, a new global financial system, a new global defense area and doctrine, and set up a more just global system.
ÖZEL'S RESPONSE
CHP Chair Özgür Özel said Erdoğan was playing the fool.
He said that it is impossible for him to have missed an alliance partner's statement, which was the most talked-about issue in Turkey.
According to Özel, Bahçeli was not happy with Erdoğan's answer.
