Who We Are

We are a group of seasoned journalists who are still loyal to the ethical rules of the profession, despite the backsliding across the Turkish media.

Turkey in Depth is led by Director Duygu Güvenç, Editor Tugrul Çam, and Defense Editor Murat Gürgen. Our core team also includes Barçin Yinanç, Nazlan Ertan, Nergis Demirkaya, and a sharp, anonymous columnist.

We also regularly feature guest contributors, adding fresh and diverse perspectives.

This small but dedicated team delivers journalism with freedom, clarity, and editorial integrity.
