The firing tests of the armed unmanned surface vehicle Sancar, developed in collaboration between Havelsan and Yonca Technical Shipyard, have been completed in the Sea of Marmara.
Havelsan announced on Sept. 14 that a Sancar AUSV hit its targets in firing tests using the Advent combat management system and 12.7 mm stabilized weapon system, and said, “Thus, Sancar became the first AUSV to be fully integrated with Advent.”
Havelsan introduced the Advent Network Supported Data Integrated Combat Management System in 2010 to meet the needs of the Turkish Navy.
Advent is a holistic Combat Management System, in contrast to other CMS solutions that focus primarily on optimizing individual ships. It can synchronize all platforms in a mission, thereby enabling joint operations.
