Although there has been no official statement from the Istanbul Governorship confirming the cancellation of a concert by producer Anyma in Istanbul, pro-government outlets reported that the show had been canceled after it was dubbed a 'satanist ritual.'
The concert was scheduled for Sept. 12 at Istanbul's Ataköy Marina Arena, part of Anyma's ÆDEN World Tour and organized locally by Only You Live. Tickets have been on sale and remain listed on the ticketing platform Passo despite the reports.
Sabah columnist Yüksel Aytuğ amplified the claims in a Sept. 3 column, describing the show as 'not a concert but a spiritual massacre' and arguing that Matteo Milleri — the Italian-American DJ and producer known by the stage name Anyma for his large-scale digital stage design — should be barred from entering Turkey altogether, not just from performing.
