President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has joined Next Sosyal, the social media platform founded by his son-in-law Selçuk Bayraktar, chair of the board of directors at Baykar.
In his first message, Erdoğan quoted from poet Erdem Bayazıt: “A flower bloomed between concrete walls. Are you ready?”
Erdoğan's post, tagged with the hashtag “We're starting,” also featured emojis of the Turkish flag, the world, and a rocket.
The number of users of the domestic platform is approaching a million.
