As requested by MHP Chair Devlet Bahçeli, artist Ali Kınık composed a folk song on the theme of brotherhood to celebrate the Terror-free Turkey process.
“Brotherhood Song”, with lyrics by Canfer Balçık, has been performed by Kınık and can be seen in a video that features footage of Bahçeli at public rallies.
The lyrics emphasize unity across Turkey’s regions and generations:
“The fabric of the homeland is woven as one/ East, West, and the Southeast undone/ Let no one ever doubt where we’ve come from/ We are branches of a steadfast tree of steel.
Let our song of brotherhood echo through the hills/ Across the seas, the plains, the vine-filled fields/ Let our tune be sung in ages yet revealed/ We are the unbroken ties of history’s seal.
This is how every wound will mend/ 81 provinces, with Ankara at the center once again.”
